I made a reservation date error online. I called Expedia 5 min. after the error to cancel the reservation. Expedia told me they had to contact the hotel. I intended on staying there in April not the next day in January. The hotel manager would not reschedule the reservation nor cancel the reservation. Expedia would not credit my card. I am disputing the charge on my credit card. The hotel would not even return my messages to them. I find this customer service terrible and Expedia should be ashamed of themselves for not doing more. Needless to say I will never use Expedia again.

While not in Como, this hotel is very reasonable and a 5 minute train ride from the harbor. We also took a bus to hotel and that was convenient. 10 minutes easy walk from bus stop. Interior room was very quiet. Very comfortable mattress. Great breakfast. No windows in our room, but nifty skylight. Warm, caring staff who answered all questions and really value compliments on their work for hotel patrons. They take pleasure in helping guests and making you as comfortable as possible.

Great hotel and staff.
Great hotel, receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We have stayed in 12 hotels in the last 2 weeks on a road trip. We rate this as the best so far by a long way. Reception provided us with glasses and cork screw having purchased a cold bottle of Pinot Grigio from them for only 6 Euros! Ice machine was also available as was an excellent buffet breakfast for 7.50. It was s 20 minute bus journey to centre of Como/lake.

Don’t arrive early
Arrived at 1pm to be told check in was 2pm. I knew this so no big deal bt most places let u check in. When I started to use the auto check in I was told, don’t, if a room became available the young lady would tell us. Seemed crazy as check out is 12pm and there was no one around. Once in you could see the place was in decent condition, corridors were clean and smelt nice. Room is basic, no windows but decent air con, there was a vending machine and small shop section which wasn’t expensive. Not a lot close to the hotel but Como isn’t to far by car. Overall for the price we were happy.
