Very Good 8.0
Nice but noisy
It’s a great hotel near the zócalo with a helpful staff and comfortable room. I would just warn that being so central - it’s also really loud with lots of street noise at pretty much every time of day. I live in Manhattan and it was a lot, even for me!

Exceptional 10.0
From beginning to end the experience was excellent and all expectations were met above & beyond. The staff was incredibly helpful always friendly and always very professional. From a personal experience we were able to determine that their standards are held very high and of course they are always open to accept any kind of criticism. The entire place was super clean very well put together and not to mention the food was excellent. from the manager of the hotel all the way down to the Bellboy everybody was always willing to help and very attentive. I strongly recommend this hotel to anybody who travels to Mexico City not only is a centrally-located but incredibly accessible as well to all the iconic and historic landmarks.

Quiet Oasis
A quiet oasis in the middle of the Centro Historico. Nicely appointed room with a comfortable bed. Water, coffee and snacks available for free around the clock. Knowledgeable staff, attentive and very helpful. Short walk to the Zócalo and to subway stations. Highly recommend! Will hopefully return.

Fair 4.0
Hotel needs work, lackluster service.
I've stayed many times at Zocalo Central and figured that given the Historico is from the same chain, it would be just as nice. Unfortunately that was not the case. The food quality and taste was lacking. The restaurant chairs were under repair as were other main areas upon entering the hotel making it messy and unappealing to be in the main lobby. The restaurant also had a bad smell and is too dark. The rooms were decent but overall the property needs a face lift. The worse part was the customer service both at the reception and restaurant no one felt sincere (especially the cafe staff which was not at all accommodating to a dairy allergy). The only people who were welcoming were the waiters in the main restaurant. Definitely stay at the Zocalo Central location or somewhere else. I really wanted to love this property as I visit MEX very often but I will pass in the future. Lastly, for being a VIP member we would normally get a room upgrade. Unfortunately none was available so they offered extra amenities instead. Well, the amenity only came one day so didn't seem to be a fair trade-off at all.
