Very Good
The Skuggi hotel was ideally placed for getting around Reykjavik. Right next to bus stops for excursions and hop on hop off tours. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Hotel was extremely clean and Breakfast was lovely and offered lots of variety hot and cold. Right next to the main shopping street and dont miss the Herford Steakhouse for excellent food and value .Couldn't fault it in any way.

Lovely hotel close to everything in Reykjavík, particularly No 10 bus stop where all the tour buses pick you up from. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly too. Breakfast was also brilliant with a huge choice of all kinds of food, particularly an amazing bread! - needed to set yourself up for a day of adventure! I would wholeheartedly recommend Skuggi

Nice modern hotel, good location just off the main street in Reykjavik. Friendly helpful staff. Would stay again if back in Reykjavik. Wifi in the room wasn't great but think this was because we were staying in the last room on the corridor.

In a good location for the city and a comfortable hotel overall. Effective black out blinds. Rooms a little too warm but fans provided on request. Cheerful, helpful staff. No fridge in the room but the kitchen kept some items for us. Breakfast was adequate for our needs. Would use this hotel again.

Great place despite the noise.
Great location though a little noisy with the bus terminal nearby. Really close to the hlemmur foodhall that has fantastic food and location is just off center which makes walking manageable too.

I would recommend Skuggi Hotel
Skuggi Hotel is a great choice for a break in Reykjavik. The rooms are practical and clean, the bathroom had a good walk in shower and sufficient space to move around and there was a good selection of English tv channels.We stayed in a twin room and rearranged the furniture to suit us and despite moving both beds there was no dust on the floor where the beds had been. The only downside was the clothes hanging rail was a bit lightweight and small for hanging bulky coats, jumpers and jeans however we managed. The location is great and all the sites in Reykjavik are in walking distance and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby too. The hotel is also conveniently located near bus stop 9 for airport pick up and drop offs and tours.
