Surprising.
Pulled up and saw an older small property.had second thoughts. Went on in anyway.Couple at the desk were very nice so I stayed Room was very clean. Only older looking. Bathroom also very clean. Bed comfortable. Overall I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay again.

Clean but severely outdated. Not allowed to have visitors which should be a red flag right there. Otherwise mediocre place was okay wouldn't stay again but it was fine for what I needed at the time.

Race weekend.
We decided last minute to go to the race and Hawaii Motel was about all we could find for under $250 a night. Everything was very clean and owners were extremely nice. The area left a little to be desired, but we felt safe. Coffee was available in the mornings and water pressure would knock you down. LOL! We would stay again. It was located between the beach and track so it is very Uber/Lyft friendly.

Not to shabby.
This is a small and older motel but it was clean and service was very good. Needed a room for the night because the Daytona race was cancelled. I check this place out prior to going but we were going to just drive back home after. Since is was cancelled we decided to stay the night to watch the next day. They still had a room available on Hotel.com and the reviews were pretty good. Neighborhood not to bad. Walmart and publix local and some convenience stores. I felt comfortable there. I would not stay for a week but for the night or 2 I would recommend.

My Daytona Beach stay
The property is old but I expected that. The room was clean but smelled old and unpleasant. I booked a couple weeks out on a holiday weekend so I paid more than double what I should have. The area has a lot of homeless people type foot traffic. I would not book this hotel again nor Recommend anyone. You get what you pay for
