The experience could have been better.
Average experience on a special weekend. Unfortunately I can only give a 3.5 star rating overall for this resort. Pros: +beautiful spot on the beach +clean +kind staff +good music and vibe +really comfy beds Things to improve on: + we booked the suite for almost $300usd per night which was a lot of money..we were promised an ocean view and a hammock. We could see a sliver of the ocean through the trees and the hammock was on suite above ours. +check in was basic, we were told nothing about the property, massages, music, how to use the safe, nothing about the resort or our stay. A welcome drink would have been lovely! +for the price we paid for your room I was a little shocked, they should be providing plush towels, robes, drinking glasses, lotion etc for the price it was not really worth it. +the food was hit or miss, one night we had a great meal and the next which was my birthday was okay, calamari was over cooked. Drinks were also average, nothing special. I would also recommend getting some nice glassware and not just serving drinks in huge pint glasses. It’s not a resort feeling when people come to vacation. Overall I’m not sure I would book here again.

Great beach getaway
We had an amazing stay here. The hotel is fabulous and the staff is incredible! The only thing we could even think to complain about was the small menu and items not available from the menu but other than that the place is fantastic!

The good- getting off the boat (there is a charge for the boat) I was greeted by Astro. She was very welcoming and gave me a tour, a free drink, gets you setup with wifi, and explains the menu and the hours that everything is available. The beds down by the beach are hard to come by if you come too late and I was lucky that Vanessa informed me when one became available and she was attentive to make sure that I was satisfied. The service by the beach and at night by the fire was very good. Breakfast was ok. Took a while to get my order taken and they dont come around often to fill your coffee. Breakfast service could be better. The only bad that I experienced is that the grounds crew and maintenance workers all congregated directly outside of my room all morning being very loud sometimes also with the housekeepers. It is my opinion that the staff should not disturb the guests with yelling and loud talking throughout the entire morning and afternoon. Overall I would suggest this hotel. It is very unique and I would come back.

Party vibes, no sleep
We enjoyed the location. There was a resort party Saturday night, which sounded fun, until we wanted to sleep. The music was so loud, we could hear it all night, like the speakers were in our room. Sunday night, a property next door had a party, so again no sleep because the music was so loud.
