    Rustic, cozy cabin.

Our cabin was rustic and quaint. It had a microwave, frig, coffee pot & coffee. No stove for cooking but we didn’t need one. Plenty of yard and wood provided for fire. We did use the little in room heater one night…a little noisy but not too bad. Shower was great, bed was great. We’d stay again! It was on a gravel road but short trip down it to the cabins. It was really close to many attractions.

    Cabin stay

This is a great place to stay. Very clean, quite and they bring firewood everyday for the firepits. Alot to do in the area. Great place. Highly recommend. We were there during sturgis. So the peacefulness was great.

Our stay was great. Our cabin was clean, the beds were comfy and the location is fairly close to Custer. We loved that firewood is provided, one less thing you need to bring or grab on your way!

Near new and well maintained. Only wish we weren't looking at the back of a log cabin business ... it damaged the view. Also would like it if they had wi-fi.

Gold Camp Cabins - a terrific SD getaway!

This turned out to be a great place to stay during a recent trip out to South Dakota - we wish we could have stayed longer! The location just outside of Custer was a perfect place to set up camp, so to speak. The cabin itself was very nice, very clean, and even included its own name-branded drinking glasses as well as a few things we forgot to bring such as grill utensils. The cell phone service was indeed spotty, but that was easily solved by simply jogging down the lane to the main road or driving into Custer. The fact there was a grill provided, in addition to the firepit was also nice - nothing like returning after a day of sightseeing to cook a steak exactly the way you want.

We stayed in Cabin 1. It was very clean and comfortable except that the headboard tilts and there is a limb in the middle - I kept hitting my head on it. The area around the cabin is great for quiet evenings. They provide a fire pit and logs. Would recommend this property - just watch your head when laying down

Great get away for the weekend.

What a lovely cabin. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! The cabin was clean, quiet, and the area surrounding the cabin was very nice!

With so many resorts having tons of Cabins on top of each other, it was great being away from all of the hustle and just having a quiet fire out on the prairie. The other cabin residents were very respectful and it was very tranquil. Great showers too!

    Escape from technology

Good part was remote location. However I was not aware there was no internet and almost no cell service. Cabin was clean and well-maintained. But I was surprised there was no clothes closet. One window air conditioning unit was old and could barely keep up. Glad there was Direct TV!
