I am a New Yorker who did a stay cation .. great location. Suite 1804 has the best bathtub ! staff was wonderful and decor is lovely. it was covid times so all was very quiet. I will stay here again even tough I live 5 blocks away
I liked this hotel. Location is great without any doubt. Decor of the entrance, restaurant is very nice and warm too. Staff is helpful and kind. The only thing that I did not like is how tiny the room is. Also its decor is underwhelming. I am not so sure i will come back and if I do it will be for location kindness of staff.
A great experience in a subdued NYC - the hotel team were wonderful, the room was a haven with amazing views south and the dinners were delicious.
No heat in the room Poor customer experience Does not enforce COVID protection. Booked this hotel to get a quiet night away. After feeling a cool draft coming from the window and realizing that the thermostat didn’t work, I called the front desk to see if the heater was broken or if I could get a space heater. At 10:30pm I went down to the lobby only to learn that 1) the hallways were warmer than my room and 2) no heaters were available. I was offered a light cotton blanket as the remedy. I asked for another room with no luck - the staff seemed unconcerned or unwilling to rectify the situation. In the end, I wasn’t able to sleep due to the cold room temperature of 65 degrees. If I knew that I was going to pay $$ to lay in a bed fully clothed and too cold to move and a staff not willing to help further, I would never have booked this hotel (I will say that the hotels.com staff did everything in their power to rectify the situation). What was supposed to be a special night to regain my sanity during this pandemic turned into a horrible experience that left me feeling helpless and worse for wear. *Upon leaving, I saw two people sitting in lobby near the front desks NOT wearing masks while working on their laptops. The front desk agent was right in front of them and didn’t do anything to enforce mask wearing.
The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to many places. Our hotel room was a shoebox. The shower door closed, but leaked water all over the floor and we to put a bunch of towels down when we showered. The bed was super uncomfortable. Due to covid we had to let the front desk know if we wanted the cleaning lady to clean out room each day, they never came.
A lovely boutique hotel near Greenwich Village- due to Covid, the cleaning people were not allowed in the rooms after check in. The limited staff were great but the rooms are small and need some additional lighting- too dark.
This place is seriously spectacular and the staff is beyond nice
Beautiful hotel. Love the decor and the staff was super friendly. Every effort was made to show they care about pandemic/sanitizing rules.
Cute hotel in great area! Disappointing the bar and restaurant inside closed due to COVID. Quiet and quaint!
OK but somewhat dated. Good Location.
