Ibis Muenchen City Arnulfpark

Nice hotel, good localization, staff speak different languages, including Brazilians that are able to speak Portuguese with me :)

The hotel itself is located about a 5 minute walk from the train station, from there you can take an U-bahnnor S-bahn into the city in the direction of Ostbahnhof. It takes you to the city center marienplatz in less than 10 mins. The S-bahn comes every 2/3 minutes you can take train S1,S2,S3,S4,S5,S6,S7, and S8 so really you never have to wait. Arnulfpark is a rather industrial area, not much for tourists around but there is a supermarket just beside the train station and because you can get into the city in about 15 minutes it's really and ideal quiet area. The hotel is a 2 star, but honestly I would easily give it 3 stars. They don't have a restaurant but for us that was ok as we like to eat dinner out and experience local cuisine. Breakfast is served every morning in the lovely lounge area, super clean with a great variety from fruit and yogurt to cereals to egg and bacon, bread and cheeses and meats, waffles, tea coffee, everything you could need. There is also a 24 hour bar serving sandwiches salads and deserts all day, all night. We had a double room with a view comfortable bed, the room was fairly small but plenty of space for two people who were spending most of their time out exploring. Everything was spotless, lovely strong shower, room cleaned every day, and free water in the room. The staff are extremely friendly. Over all I would give this hotel a big thumbs up, as it is ideal for getting around the city in any direction without costing you an arm and a leg!!

My husband and I had a great stay here. The room was like in pictures even better than that. We stayed on the last floor (non smoking rooms), 2 elevators available for accessing the floors. Lovely view and room, small but perfect and warm, great shower and if you'd like hot water, then you have it. Fast check in and even faster check out. Ibis is located aprox. 30 min walk or you can take the tram, 1 min away from the hotel and it will take you to the Marienplatz in another aprox. 10 min.

We had an excellent stay in Ibis Arnulfstrasse,Munich.Check in was friendly and efficient.Our room was compact,spotless clean and very nicely decorated.Great shower and large plasma TV.The Breakfast room and Terrace were fantastic with a large breakfast buffet. Facilities in and around the hotel were spotless also.Its 2km from the HauptBahnhof but the Tram stop is outside the hotel so it was ideal.HirscGarten is quite near and a Must see.

Suits us, as to location, so is the price. Could be better if kettle is provided so we can have hot water, at least, on these freezing cold days.

Once we eventually got to the right hotel (don't get confused with the "Ibis Muenchen City" without the "Arnulfpark" in the name!), check-in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and the hotel are quite new, although being an Ibis hotel it is a very basic room – no fridge or safe are provided. The bed was very comfortable though, and it was quiet at night.

it was warm and clean with a fab bar and breakfast buffet! the beds were comfy and the room was very nice- quiet despite being near a main road! and an ideal location to catch train, bus or tram anywhere you pleased! great for the price that it was!
