Accommodations were amazing. Gourmet kitchen with high end (Wolf) appliances, Bose sound system, Full size Samsung washer/dryer unit, Dishwasher, jacuzzi tubs inside and on the balcony, 1800 sq feet... simply beautiful. Property extremely well maintained. Service was first class. Everyone learned and remembered our daughter’s name and were very good to her. The kids club and staff were amazing (she fed iguanas, made a t shirt, and had a piñata party!) Transportation was on time, courteous, comfortable. Concierges were all welcoming. Marcela was wonderful. The spa service was great, although the area for it was small. Locker room was more like a changing room, with no place to shower and only a 4 chair area to relax before or after the treatment. Only other complaint was that the beach was not exactly what I pictured for Cancun. Waves were larger, water was a bit murkier, and greener, not that turquoise/electric blue. There really wasn’t anywhere to snorkel right off the beach for us. It could partially have been due to the weather. Lastly, the whole tipping situation was difficult. I think this is more that it was our first trip to Mexico, but I didn’t bring enough small bills for all the tips... pool boy, Pool waiters, regular waiters, driver, housekeeping, kids club staff, bellhop, concierge, etc.. it was a bit overwhelming trying to keep track of. Most tipping guides all inclusives, but it felt low. All in all, 5 star and we would definitely go back.
