Family getaway
Booked a last minute get away for my two young girls. We booked a king bedroom suite and it was more than enough room for the stree of us. Service was friendly and helpful and the heated pool was a huge hit! We will absolutely be back again!

Good! But not great.
Check in: arrived to a line in the lobby with only one employee. After about 15 minutes of waiting someone came and helped. They were very friendly but didn't seem experienced. They didn’t understand when I asked if there was an incidental hold on my card. Also, the agent kept telling me about things happening next week even though I was only staying one night. The room: my room was NOT very clean, someone’s undies were even in the drawer! I was very underwhelmed with the view. We even were lucky enough to switch rooms to the rear in hopes of a better view and it was worse. Right above stinky vents, cigarette smells, the dumpsters. Don’t spring for a view. Dinner: we had an amazing a experience with food, drinks and staff. Can’t say enough about the servers and management we really enjoyed them. The space was cramped and no high chairs. The booster didn’t have a seatbelt making dinner difficult for us. The pool: delightful! We enjoyed it very much. A drunk person broke glass at the exit though. The locker room was filthy!! Toilet paper on the floor, pee on the seats, towels everywhere! Sleep: in my opinion the bed was very uncomfortable and poorly made with linens that didn’t fit. It looked lumpy and felt even worse. Breakfast: we called from the room to place an order, after being on hold for a few minutes someone hung up on us. The food was just okay, they did not give us utensils. Check out: Seemed too busy to care. Did not offer me a receipt.

We love the Riverwalk! The suites are amazing! You can walk to everything and the hot tubs and pools are perfect for winter or summer! Great family friendly resort!

Brand new looking, spacious and clean rooms and common areas. All very well kept. Great, heated pool, and 2 hot tubs (1 indoor and 1 outdoor). Wanted to pay for a $100/night upgrade from standard room to a suite and was told by front desk staff they could not do it and to contact Expedia. Half an hour later of online chatting with Expedia and going back and forth with on-site hotel staff, the hotel staff finally made it happen after all. In our daily passing by during our stay front desk staff never showed interest in anything at all it seemed. Just doing the absolute necessary, without a friendly, hospitable touch. Would go a long way at $300/night.
