Very Good 8.0
Hotel in the park
It is a beautiful compound, close to the gardens, bay and city. The venue itself is built in 80s, the architecture of the venue is very attractive. If the owners can add modern twist to it, it will be on trend and can even class as luxury hotel. As it is now, room decor is locked in the 2000s... Some parts even older - eg the vertical blinds. The games room concept and the cafeteria concept is outdated. The hotel is well kept. Won't mind staying there again.

Potentially great
A bit hard to find. Rooms are a bit difficult to get to from where cars were parked. Being updated and will be improved in the future. Staff were nice, service was good surrounds are exceptional including a very nive pool area and golf course.

Surroundings and gardens are beautiful. We enjoyed our breakfast and played a bit of table tennis upstairs before we left which was fun.

Beautiful location with gardens and landscaping.

Fair 4.0
The centre itself has a lot to offer, the breakfast was quite pleasing and there is an outdoor pool and tub. However, there were several guest issues during our stay that lowered my score. Unruly guests in public areas, people in public areas after hours who were not guests of the hotel and overall lack of security to assist with escalated matters was evident. After hours checkin process did not work although staff were helpful but was rather frustrating. The level of clientele in this centre is well below what I would expect from a business conference centre.

Great quiet spot away from traffic but room walls are pretty thin, not too bad but enough to hear the neighbours and kids

Quick checkin with friendly staff, Our room was nice and clean and pre-cooled for the hot day, only cons is that the walls are too thin you hear everything out the corridor and next door.

Outside gardens & pool were great but the hotel def needs an outside clean & upgrade. Looks like a dingy 2 star hotel from the outside. Rooms are very small, 1 double bed & 1 single bed with just a small walkway in between, tv mounted on wall about a narrow desk & chair in the corner which you cant use because its stuck between the desk & end of the bed. Bathrooms have been upgraded but the shower head is mounted at about 5"6 in the wall, so if you're taller it is awful - my son is 6'3 and hated it! Housekeeping is pretty pathetic, on the first night they changed the towels, nothing else. Asked housekeeping staff why my room wasnt done & they said they only do a "light service" of towels and shampoo refill. Rang reception to ask if housekeeping was included as its a hotel, was told yes of course they make the beds & do the dishes etc.. After I stated they didnt, she apologized & said they would make sure they did it the next night, very disappointing service. On a more pleasant note, breakky is included & was great for a continental. 3 diff breads for toasting, croissants, pastries, fresh fruit, cereals, bitcher muesli, tea, coffee, juice. Staff at cafe & front of house were fantastic & very helpful.
