Poor security and not comfortable
We arrived at checkin time but the office was closed from 12-3pm. Once in our room we found there were no lockers to secure our belongings. The office would let you leave things in there but they were only accessible during office hours which are limited and not always regular. So, we had to carry our computers and passports with us everywhere we went. They also have signs everywhere reminding you that the security of your belongings is your responsibility. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The TV room is nice but the sofas are very old and with uncomfortable seating. Laundry is reasonably priced but only available from 9am-9pm. Overall, it would be fine for a single night on a budget but otherwise I would never recommend it. It is inexcusable to not have a way for guests to secure their belongings when they are in an 8 person shared room. It is a 10-15 min walk to the center of town but it is definitely not in the nicer side of town. We felt safe in the neighborhood, however.

This is a very well-managed hostel with great cooking facilities close to shops or to other places to eat. Car parking is good and locked at night.

Got here super late and they accommodated our late check in. We also got a private double room and I don't know how but the upgrade was greatly appreciated after 6 hours of driving that day. The kitchen was large and spacious and the hostel was big and cute and clean. I really liked it here.
