Peter, Cilla and Sandy are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Great comfy rooms and tasty breakfasts. The guest house is in a great location for the high street which has good bars and restaurants and is a short walk to the lovely beach.

Friendly hosts, wonderful place.
Peter and Sandy were amazing hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. Felt like staying with (very attentive) friends! A guest house with real charm, character, 1000x better than a soulless chain hotel would have been. I will definitely make Anchors Rest my default place to stay in Umhlanga.

this was a lovely guest house. we stayed in the cottage and loved every minute of our stay. the staff wonderful and the owners great hosts. could really recommend this lovely gem.
