Yankee Peddler Inn
Great experience
Only there one night at the end of the season but we had a great time! Definitely want to come back! Comfy beds, friendly staff and easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room we had on the top floor was large as was the bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast was good with freshly made options. The free cookies in the afternoon plus the free wine and cheese at the weekend were an unexpected bonus. Free parking and great location for the main town as well as the Mansions.

Comfort and convenience
Very nice stay in comfortable room and great value with many included breakfast and beverage options. Nice to not have to pay for parking in Newport.

Old but warm and friendly!
We stayed in the renovated carriage house.five rooms, old but comfortable. Meg was wonderful.answered every question. Location in center of town with parking a plus. Walked to stores & resturants! Continental breakfast fair. Would go back again. Priced right for location.

A nice hotel with some charm
The Yankee Peddler Inn is an old Victorian mansion about a block away from the Viking Hotel in Newport, Rhode Island. The clerk upgraded my room without me requesting it, and all of the staff were very friendly. Parking is free, which is rare at hotels in Newport, and there is no resort fee. A free continental breakfast came with the room. You can easily walk to Bowen's Wharf, and the various shops. The floor was somewhat creaky in the room, and I tore my sweater on a nail in one of the chairs, but overall it was an enjoyable stay.
