Exceptional 10.0
Modern and very clean hotel
Modern hotel, laminate flooring which helps with cleanliness, comfortable bed, clean hallways and public areas. Nice continental breakfast included with fresh fruit, pancake/waffle mix, cereals, toast, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juices and coffee. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk and the maid service as well. Will definitely stay here again.

Would never stay there again
I had three issues with my stay: 1) Wifi wasn't working on my floor for my entire stay and when I called reception I was just told "Wifi hasn't worked on that floor for the last couple of days...." This was a major problem for me as I was planning on getting some work done that night and morning and couldn't 2) One of the towles in the bathroom wasn't very clean and actually had hair on it, which was disgusting. 3) When dealing with reception, I didn't find them to be very friendly and they didn't try to provide any sort of compensation for the lack of wifi. If I'm staying in a hotel at over 150USD a night in NYC I would except them to have working wifi.

Meets the needs
Nice and cozy hotel with a lot of details, such as hot tea and cocoa 24 hours, water, ice, wifi, breakfast and a helpful staff, especially Rose from the breakfast area. The only disconfort is the neighborhood.

Great Value
Great central spot, tons within walking distance. We were in Brooklyn for a concert at Brooklyn Steel which was only about a $9 Uber from there. Totally walkable if it hadn’t been freezing and raining and we weren’t sure of the safety of the streets we’d be walking through. Lobby is small but to be expected at a NYC hotel. Rooms had two queen beds that were actually surprisingly really comfortable. Would have liked a heavier blanket on the beds though. Everything was clean, modern and efficient. No closet but there were spots to hang clothes and drawers. Being there one night, we didn’t need that. Breakfast is included and is a basic continental with some waffles and coffee. Parking is a bit of a challenge - we were able to find street parking eventually but we definitely drove around for about 20 minutes before finding a spot that was safe to leave overnight. Due to street cleaning on certain days, you’d likely have to move your car each day on a multi day stay. Absolutely would stay again- Great value for the price and location. Pack a noise machine or some ear plugs- as expected the street sounds carried easily to the 9th floor but I always pack a white noise maker.
