We loved the view from this hotel, the facilities were pretty clean and the breakfast was great! However, the front desk staff wasn't helpful at all when we asked for help and recommendations. If you're planning to stay here, I would recommend eating a very large meal before sunset or bring snacks, since it's very difficult to find dinner in Salento and this hotel doesn't offer any food besides the mini bar. Also, if you're planning to go on adventures that leave early in the morning, I wouldn't advise you to stay at this hotel, since breakfast is available only after 7:30AM, which is pretty late if you're going on a tour.

A great place to stay but the staff have no means to handle rowdy guests. A complete buffoon was screaming in the early hours and woke up all the guests but the staff did nothing about it. Had to confront the hillbilly myself.

The scenery from the my room was breathtaking and I couldn’t have enough of it. The view from the terraces is just out of this world. The place is clean and staff are friendly and very helpful… will definitely book this hotel in the future

This hotel located on the top of the hill with breathtaking view but If you are not in good shape you better to find another place to stay. Not on Main Street but with a walking distance to main attractions. Very modest breakfast with limited options. Great for people on diet. A lot of dinning options in town and price is low. Housekeeping was an issue but this is the main problem in Colombia. We didn’t have toiletries for two days and were given wet towels . No drinking water or Kleenex in the room. Hot drinking water per request. Coffee in common area but every time we are in the hotel the service was gone. Staff was very friendly and was trying to help with all needs. In my opinion the hotel is overpriced based on condition and limited service. It’s good for students and young couples . I booked this place d/t limited options during this time of the year. But I will choose another hotel for the next time.

The front desk is friendly and trying to help you with your needs. Location is not the best. This place situated on the top of the hill. If you are not in good physical shape you need to find another place. Not in the Center of village life but with a walking distance. Housekeeping needs to be improved and this is the main Colombian problem. We didn’t get toiletries for two days and they provide us with wet towels. One towel per family seems to be the law in in this country. We had the same issue in Bogotá and Medellin as well. Very modest breakfast. If you are on a diet this is the best place for you.drinking water in the room to pay. They can give you hot water per request. A lot of dinning places around the town and the price is cheep. Jeeps are the main source of transportation and there are always busy and in high demands. Limited taxi access. Local and long distance bus station not far away but to get to you place from there is a big problem d/t limited taxi availability. No Uber. Be prepare to pay if you do not have your own car. I booked this hotel because of limited availability for this time of the year ( kids holidays and family vacations). I think this place is overpriced and good for students and young couples. I would choose another hotel for my next stay.
