Awful rooms inn dirty and staff don't care
Stay was terrible I asked for quiet room 5 wks before arriving and a bath I got neither I got 4 hrs sleep one night abd had 2 hospital appointment s at rvi that next morning sec night was kept awake to 2am noisy ppl I went down to tell night porter he went to see them but after they knocked music down they carried on slamming doors shouting. I had ear gels in and could still here them .. None of the staff cared I'd not slept... Filthy room sweet wrappers finger Nail clippings on carpet.. Carpet bettles on my bed and silver fish in bathroom running around.. terrible mould in the bathroom.. Not dusted eithier I couldnt wait to leave its was awful ripped wallpaper with food and stains on it.. it all needs cleaned and properly inspected this hotel its not clean.. Got soaked come back to dry clothes off radiator didn't work .. Grab and go brekkie was the best thing about the stay I come home to sleep if you want a restful night don't go here.. Staff didn't care.. While I was telling them my concerns they were busy typing on computer not much eye contact unprofessional

Good value
My experience was a good one and I thought the room was good value. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. It was a Wednesday night and was quiet. I was pleased to find that the window opened and the room wasn't too hot. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but the downstairs coffee machine was out of order.

The hotel was very good value for money, it was clean and comfortable and I liked the shower with easy access because I am disabled. Parking was good and near the door. The only problem was noise at night, we didn't sleep well because of a difficult person in the room opposite and the police had to come to get the person's door open.

We were in Newcastle for a concert and the location of the hotel was brilliant. Unfortunately, the room was very uncomfortable as it was so hot. There was no option to open a window so we had to borrow two fans and keep the curtains closed all weekend. The room was also very expensive for what is on offer e.g. no restaurant etc. It was generally clean although some aspects were on the tired side with a hole in the sofa and some of the sealant in the shower being dirty.
