Bosque Escondido Hotel de Montaña

It’s a great location the only thing we didn’t like that the rooms were not completely clean when we arrived

Arriving at the destination a gate guard advised us the reception office for the facility was closed and we could collect our key at a Best Western a half a mile away. At check in I was told my key card was in the envelope I was given. I asked if she was sure and she said yes, I opened the envelope and the key card was not for the cabin I was assigned. Before I left the office I had been assigned 3 different cabins and given key cards for 2. Arriving at the cabin there were problems with the key card but it did finally open . Once inside we discovered the beds were made but everything inside was in an unclean state. My wife had brought cleaning supplies and spent an hour wiping down all surfaces. I tried to call the office but their phone service didn’t function. I finally was able to call by cell phone to report the cleaning problem, the telephone not working and the TV remote not working. Three calls later and one physical visit to the office they finally came for the TV remote exchange, it was the wrong remote for the TV. They sent cleaning people when we stepped out to eat but on our return it was hardly improved. There is no Internet at the cabins and the WiFi in their restaurant was not functioning. The condition of the cabins is not what is represented in the photos on Expedia, general lack of maintenance, stains on walls, damaged and stained upholstery, poor quality towels. This property suffers from poor administration, maintenance and housecleaning.

Very quiet. Clean. Staff very professional Safe.

It's hidden in plain site. Close to the central area to access shopping and dining.

Loved this place. We made the reservation hours before we got to the place. We were staying at a cabin in the middle of nowhere and were so cold we couldn’t sleep at all. The last minute reservation was our salvation

My whole family loved the property... Super clean and spacious with privacy.

it was a great location. room need better cleaning, stains on sheets, no WIFI or phone in room. but over all it was ok.

They charged my card plus maybe me pay cash saying it wasn’t paid for, never refund any money.

The grounds were lovely to walk around. The the blankets were very wore, need to be changed The room could use a paint job and remodeled.
