I stayed in a king suite and it fit my needs. The room was clean, stayed cool, the shower water was always hot, low noise, the kitchenette was a plus. The ability to contact staff could be worked on, when you call the hotel it goes straight to voicemail. When you are in your room, the phone was broken so couldn’t dial the front desk from there either. But ideal location if you are needing to be by convention center, it was across the street. Perfect for those of us that came to race Hyrox.

Based on prior reviews, I was concerned about light coming in the windows in the morning, but it wasn’t bad at all. The windows had normal blinds that did the job. I wouldn’t worry about this. The other bad review I heard about was noise coming from the hallway or other rooms. It’s true you can hear others in the hallway really easily. And one night we could hear our neighbors’ discussions if we were near the wall where they were. (They weren’t excessively loud and weren’t playing music.) But being prepared for the worst, it wasn’t too bad and didn’t ruin our stay. The noise either didn’t last long or quieted down before too late. So that was fine. We were also on the fourth floor so I bet that helped. The hotel does seem to attract partiers and other types of groups, but there’s also lots of families. Overall, it was a fun, welcoming, lively place to stay, and I’d say a good value and worked for us. It was also pretty clean and everything was maintained pretty well, except the hallway on our floor was a little dated. It was a positive experience!

The hotel is between the convention center and the beach (15 minutes walk). The room was clean but not very bright except in the bedroom as the blind was not efficient there. The service was good, but there was no cabinet at all to put the clothes, and the bed was not very comfortable. Our room vue was a roof with air conditioner conditioning vent. The environment was very noisy. Noise came from the street while windows were closed, noise came from other rooms of the hotel and from the hallway when people talked there.

Overall a great location only a few blocks from the beach. The rooms are bright and clean and they have options for bigger groups. Our only issue was the parking is a couple of blocks away, although they did offer in and out.
