Loved the decor. Super clean. Super nice. Wished they supplied complimentary coffee or free breakfast though.
Visiting Cusco and Machu Pichu, if it wasn't for Angelica I would have cancelled or move to another hotel. DO NOT get this hotel, they have no idea they are a VIP hotel with Expedia or they just don't care. Angelica even told me that the Jr Suite I was supposed to get, it's not the one I got... did the claim with the staff and they called the owner's girlfriend who said there was no mistake and that was the room I was supposed to get. Room was dark, heater I had to call the front desk for them to activate, only worked after 8PM, before that sorry... get a blanket. Bathrooms are VERY small and not well taken care, damaged sink, shower clogged, door didn't close correctly, towels are old (you can tell the "white" on the towel, wasn't anymore). The 20% discount on food, I had to claim it, fight for it, explain to them what it was and that what to be a VIP hotel with Expedia meant, still they didn't understand, but at the end they gave the discount to me. Location was good but that's it, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel, I only recommend Angelica, she was the best! Disappointing on Expedia, that they don't do a good filter selecting their VIP hotels, I believed in their VIP hotels blindly but no more.
This property was highly recommended by websites on Cusco Stays. Here are the basics. The room is fine / not great: the location is great: the bed comfortable: the shower great. WiFi virtually nonexistent, TV didn't work half the time, the breakfast just OK, I travel 4 months out of the year and I have stayed in better Airbnbs... I would not recommend it. Also no lobby and no outdoor area. Further, I happened to be there during a week of festivals and the hotel backs on to a historic area / park where these took place. The noise was unbearable especially if you wanted to go to bed early because all treks from Cusco start very early.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was clean and updated, simple but very nice. Breakfast was also simple but very good and they even gave us a boxed breakfast for the morning we had a tour early and were leaving before the hot breakfast started. This was a great location and a great place to stay. The only downside was the wifi being somewhat spotty
My husband and I stayed in Atiq hotel in Cusco while visiting Machupicchu and Rainbow Mountain. I have had altitude sickness every day and hotel Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was freshly cooked every day. They even packed breakfast for us when we were going to Machupicchu at 3:30 am. We were very happy with daily housekeeping as well. Overall great boutique hotel, close to everything, very convenient with excellent service. Valentina and Danny from Sydney, Australia
Great Location. Helpful Staff. Convenient base for exploring Cusco with easy walking access to Plaza de Armas central area.
I booked this hotel because of the location and so I would have a great and relaxing stay in Cusco. Try junior suite was large and nice, but the bathroom was ridiculously small. I had to stand over the toilet to close the door. Their is no room service, no bar, and the restaurant has almost no selection. The location is perfect, but upon checkout they were only able to take Visa. They have signs everywhere saying they take AMEX and Master Card, but insisted there was an “internet issue” and the only way to checkout is with Visa. This seemed as if it is a regular thing so beware. I had to pay for my fathers room because they wouldn’t let us leave because he only brought AMEX and MC.
Wonderful location, friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Quiet and big rooms. Loved that I could het the room given that we stayed during winter time.
Great location, great staff, and great breakfast. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend
The staff is very helpful and nice! Overall, it’s a nice hotel located in a perfect location.
