A 4 night stay
The stay was nice. Although the double bed is not as big as the double beds we are used to in the UK. The room is also small, which is understandable for a room in Tokyo. I wish there was more than one usb charging port in our room, as we only brought one Japan adapter with us. It was nice that was a small card-access room in the lobby with pay-to-use laundry machines, although there was only a handful of each washing machines and drying machines, and 2 or 3 all in one machine. The location is great. The staffs are nice and pleasant, they allowed us to store luggage before and after check-in time, and helped us book a Mount Fuji tour. Overall the stay was great, but we would not go back due to the cost being over £100 per night.

Disappointingly shabby
Our room felt old and beyond it’s expiration date. Stains on the carpet. Marks on the wall. It was the type of room that made me feel like I needed to take a shower and burn my clothes. I’m a little confused how this is a 4-star hotel. The one highlight: there’s a Godzilla head on the 8th floor restaurant balcony.

Great hotel for a family stay
Reading reviews I was worried about the size of the rooms BUT we were pleasantly surprised with our twin room for 4 people, 2 adults and 2 kids ages 12 and 10. Ok, the rooms are not big but if you’ve stayed in a place like Manhattan before then this really is no different. We stayed here for 9 nights and i have no complaints. The hotel amenities were great as well as the location. Will stay here again next time we are in town!
