Firstly direction on the web was wrong so acording to the web direction we went to the wrong point of the city. It must be correction. Hotel staffs were helpful but two beds were not been together because of furnitures can be damaged. Swimming pool and other facilities were good enough. Restaurant was mean for dinner but inadequate for breakfast. It didn't seem to be like famous local breakfast and when you visit to Van it is is fairly normal that your expectation at the breakfast can be different from any other location.

Great position if you're driving and want to be out of town to get around, and very close to airport. However, our hire car got a dent in the hotel car park and staff were not very helpful to sort this out. Clean, with adequate PPE and measures, e.g. screens at reception, booking time at pool and gym. Gym attendant unfriendly though, asked us to leave 10 minutes early. Also lake view room also means main road view too, and windows don't shut out noise. I would recommend to stay here, but get a room at the back of the hotel..

Hotels.com is no good.
I have no issue with the Doubletree. We never made it to Van and I tired numerous times online to cancel this reservation but Hotels.com did not allow me. So I lost out on the charge.

The best place in Van to come to after climbing Ararat. Good food, friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious rooms.

İt is clean and comfortable hotel.Breakfast bar was good.Stuff was good and ready for help. For Covid-19 they did all disinfectant and protection process. I strongly recommended.

Nice and comfortable
Nice facilities esp the pool and Turkish bath. Large room. Comfortable beds. Good buffet breakfast offering. But not lakefront. There is a highway separating hotel and Lake Van.

The properties and conditions of the hotel were good, but the transportation to Van was difficult and something were stupid that included: 1- The staff of checking desk was impolite and rude. 2- The staff of checking desk, and other staff (men) and some Turkish fixed guests proposed sex relation or massage to any women ( single or married). I think they were very rude and impudent. I think the manager of the hotel must be responsible and pursuing the bad behaviour of their staffs.

The hotel was far from the down town. They didnt have tissue for drying face and hand. But the cleaning and personels beahavier were good.
