We stayed here during carnival. The hotel is nice, good breakfast every morning, nice view of the port, drinks and food were delicious. I loved the rooftop pool with a 360 view. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful with all of our questions.

second time staying @ this hotel during this trip indicates how nice it is to stay there lovely aparthotel a bit off the beaten track from all the touristy places but easy to get about the area if you are comfortable using the tram o/ metro systems if not uber is cheap in Rio pros - modern hotel , spotlessly clean , friendly staff , big rooms , big bed , lovely hot clean shower & toilet area decent buffet breakfast cons - bit out of the way if you are uncomfortable using public transport , cable tv very limited english language channels

wonderful hotel slightly out of the way in a fairly run down looking area that is actually very safe & close to the VLT ( tram) system that serves part of Rio pros - lovely good sized modern room with great shower / toilet facilities separate , very clean & modern, friendly helpful staff decent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice hotel afforded me early checkin & late checkout which helped immensely cons - if you are not prepared to use the Tram or Metro systyems the hotel is a little bit isolated from all the tourist attractions therefore youll spend more on taxis or uber gettting around cable tv very few english language channels overpriced around the new year period but thats Rio in general will return again on next visit to Rio

My room was not cleaned for 2 consecutive days. The TV malfunctioned and I could not turn it off, I spent half the night awake as the hotel staff did not come to assist me after I requested them. The check in staff was not very considerate.
