I went to Wageningen for a course at the university for one week (5 days). The bus station was conveniently reachable and hotel and the downtown area offer various options to eat out. The staff at the desk was always friendly and helpful and offered to tell me how to get to the university. I had booked a very small single room, but it was nice and clean every day. The view from my hotel room was on the hotel roof and the street, on the other side, I would have seen some water. On the ground floor of the Hotel are a very nice Restaurant and a nice public area with sofas, armchairs, tables and plants. I met with some fellow students in that area every day. We were impressed by the strong-looking basil growing in a showcase there.

noisy plumbing
staff friendly however hotel is tired in the rooms also the plumbing is terribe - woke up in the middle of the night with what sounded like a flood coming through the wall. Suspect this was all the upstairs rooms drainage pipework walls are also very thin so all in all a bad nights sleep

Many times the service was good and friendly, at other times decidedly unfriendly. Things agreed between WICC and myself over email two months prior to my stay had not registered with WICC and caused misunderstandings. It points to a lack of procedures that could ensure that information is transferred from one employee to another
