Hideaway at Royalton Riviera Cancun Adults Only - All Inclusive

This resort was perfect for our first getaway during the pandemic. All the staff wore masks, but we were never required to, and there was hand sanitizer/ hand washing stations everywhere. You had to make reservations for dinner which was a little annoying because places booked up quick, but the restaurant food overall was great. Room service however since they are doing pre packaged food was mediocre at best. Definitely could use some improvement for the limited room service options. The hotel has a BEAUTIFUL SPA and gym area which we used almost every day. And there were activities like yoga and vollyball going on all the time. The Adult only Hideaway pool did trivia and had music going which was nice. (Tip: the Dorado restaurant when you walk in to the left has better top shelf alcohol available drinks to go ie: don julio) vs whatever well liquor they were using at the swim up bar. They did a great job cleaning up the beach from all the sea grass, we never had a problem...but this definitely isn't teal water white sand beaches if that is what you are looking for. It was great but we spent almost all our time at the pool because it was more fun with the swim up bar and music/activities going on.

This was a wonderful resort. Stay on the adult only side. With a swim out . Did not have to want for anything staff was amazing brought you anything you wanted. Food was good. There SPA WAS Amazing. I really wanna go back. I had an great experience.

I loved the service so much everyone was so kind and welcoming! I would for sure recommend making dinner reservations at the Japanese place, it was my favorite. The omelette station for breakfast was mine and my boyfriends favorite MB as well! The guys working the buffet are truly the sweetest! Our servers our last night Emilio & Maria were great. Honestly we didn’t have a complain with the service at all. The food could definitely be better, I was expecting more authentic Mexican food, it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either.

The resort was excellent. People are friendly and eager to attend to your needs. That said, we encountered a problem with our site conditioner the last evening and were forced to switch rooms at 11 pm. The front desk staff was not helpful and didn't even know which kind of room we were in to appropriately give us a substitution. We finally got a room with the same amenities, but it was dirty, had an open bottle of tequila on the counter and the mirror was damaged. Everything else was great, so if you don't happen to have a problem, it's a great resort. They just don't handle issues outside of normal operating procedure well.

Property was clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. Although the hotel had just gone through 2 hurricanes, it was hard to compare what it looked like before the damage we saw. In our opinion they did whatever they could to recover the best they could. They did a fabulous job in our opinion.

Not sure where to start. First the cleanliness of the room was not great. There was clothes still in the room from previous guest. Room service takes an average if 45 minutes and has an limited menu. Food at the restaurants wad great but need to get up early to get an reservation. The swim up pool pumps was not working. The balcony was full of mosquitoes and my wife is allergic to them and it took a whole day to get someone come spray the balcony. There is also no premium liquor on this site. They don't have cheap Jack Daniel's. Do not do the tours with the people on site. Go to the beach and pay half ther price with the guys walking the beach.

The resort (in some places) seemed a little run down. Cracks in the concrete, chipped sinks in the bathroom, etc. It wasn't anything that wouldn't make someone not want to stay, but it doesn't look like a "new" resort.

This hotel is beautiful!!!!! The staff, omg the staff is extremely polite and well mannered. The hotel is fully equipped with COVID precautions. The entire staff wears their masks alll day, they sanitize your hand at every station you go, there’s hand washing equipments throughout the hotel facility. The food was great!!!! We had so much fun.

The place had just been hit by 2 hurricanes so there was some damage but they were working to correct it. Kept everything clean and friendly staff.

Nice clean hotel, service is good, pool area is awesome , like the fact there is an adults only area at the resort
