Great customer service in a historic hotel
Lovely old historic hotel with modern, refurbished rooms in excellent location. Was a little noisy from corridor at night as sound proofing didn’t seem to be so good. Special shout out to the lovely Beatrice at the front desk who made our check-in a memorable one! Exceptional customer service right there!

Historic hotel
Conveniently-located hotel with old school feel. Room was roomy, bathroom updated, and beds comfortable. Overall the hotel was a bit dark and outdated.

Okay this hotel was beautiful on the inside! Very spacious and grand lobby. Stayed in a king suite and it was gorgeous. Very clean and spacious. No mini fridge but they had a microwave. Bathroom was beautiful. Everything was very pleasing.

8/10 Very good

Beautiful in many respects, lacking in others.
First, the efforts and expense taken to restore the hotel were well worth it, and it shows. The lobby and common areas were immaculate and gorgeously detailed. I was a little disappointed that there was nothing more than an irish pub and a diner style restaurant, but the surrounding area made up for it I suppose. The lobby directory listed an in-house steakhouse, however it was not operational. Unfortunately our stay also did not originally include a continental breakfast, however the concierge happily provided us with a voucher. The Valet parking was worth the expense, and i would like to extend thanks to Tj, who was especially friendly, informative, and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Our room on the third floor was acceptable, the bathroom was stylish and spacious, the room was comfortably furnished, and it was clean. That being said, our room (325), only had a view of the air conditioning units on the second story roof and the opposite wing. The paint on the trim around the curtains was cracking, one side of the curtain trim was falling from the ceiling, the ceiling joints in the drywall were visible, and there were spots where the paint was peeling from the ceiling as well. Overall, it was a nice stay in a historic hotel. Better care could have been taken in the room restoration (at least ours), and for $250 a night a continental breakfast could have been offered. I'll go back, but I've stayed in less expensive hotels and had better overall experiences.
