LA to San Francisco road trip
Stayed here with my partner at the end of our LA to San Francisco road trip . Staff very pleasant and helpful we were able to check in early to, which was great after the drive. The room was lovely and big looking onto lombart street. Bed extremely comfortable and big.Very clean also.The only fault we had that there was no fridge in the room . If you wanted one you had to pay a daily rate for it. Considering we were paying a good price for the room the fridge should have been included at no xtra cost we believe. As we had stayed in numerous motels on the trip upto san Fran and they all had fridges in the rooms supplied. Anyway apart from that I would have no hesitation recommending cow hollow Inn.

A great hotel!!!
I first stayed at this hotel when I moved to San Francisco in the early 1980s. It was a beautiful hotel then and it is still a beautiful hotel. Spacious rooms, close to everything, free parking, and a great staff. Once you get to the hotel you will be in walking distance of everything you need; coffee, fine dining, groceries, clothes, all kinds of specialty stores, and plenty of entertainment. Just a short walk to the Bay. Some people might be a little intimidated by the amount of traffic on Lombard St, but it's manageable. I would highly recommend this hotel. While I have stayed in many hotels in many areas of San Francisco now that I have returned to the original hotel that greeted me upon my arrival to the city I'm sure I will be back here much more.

This is a great basic hotel in a great location. The price was reasonable and the free parking is a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again when in the Marina.

This hotel has a great location..close to shopping and great restaurants--fine if you plan on spending no time in your room. The front desk staff is S L O W and rather unresponsive to guests needs. My room had a view of a white brick wall and was dark. I could see hair on the bathroom floor. Gross! I was out of my room from 10:30AM until 6:30PM and returned to find it had not been cleaned and maid service had left for the evening. No apologies or discounts given. I wont be returning to this hotel.
