Love this place!
This is our second time visiting and we will be back again. Such a friendly and quiet place. Comfy rooms and the pool is fantastic. Maria is always great to deal with and remembered us from two years ago. Brian was also great and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

Carillo beach
The hotel was about 3 Kim's from the beach, which made the room rate perfect for us. The manager was very helpful in contacting our next stay. The meals that we had at the hotel were great.

Paradise at El Sueno Tropical, Platya Carrillo
Jose, the manager and Marie were very welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. Our small dog was welcomed. Tico breakfasts. Nice pools. When our next leg of our trip did not work out, we returned to El Sueno Tropical and were welcomed back with open Arms. We will be back on next visit to Costa Rica.

We stayed two nights and it was very enjoyable. At around $60 per night it was a great deal. The hotel was clean and comfortable and provided a mini fridge, coffee maker, standard toiletries, AC, and wifi around the room and hotel grounds. Breakfast was included and it was cooked to order so you could choose what you wanted to eat and it was fresh. The hotel served lunch and dinner and the chef was very good. A portion of the menu changes every two days since it depends on what fish they get so you know it's really fresh. The owner was also very accommodating and he was always around. It's about a five minute drive to Carrillo Beach which we liked the best since it was less crowded and the waves were small and the sand was soft. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Suenos Tropicales tour
My son and I stayed for two days at this hotel, which is approximately 2 miles off of Playa Carrillo beach. It's a bit quieter than other locations that one might select. Each morning, I could hear howler monkeys in the distance, so it's situated in a dry, jungle area.

A new home away from home
El Sueno Tropical was a most wonderful place to stay. We never had the feeling to be guests. We were part of a unique family. Each morning we were greeted with a most delicious breakfast and great coffee. Questions were answered and a helpful hand always given. The staff, Erik, Maria and owner Jose have become friends, incredible beautiful people. The restaurant on the property is the very best in the area, outstanding, to us a 5 star. We've been traveling for the past 30 years in Costa Rica, this trip was the best we ever experienced. We'll return.

nice hotel with swimming pool and a huge and gorgeous tropical garden where you even can see little apes. The Breakfast is extraordinary with homemade jam! Don'1 miss it!
