Nantahala Village
Not a "resort" although it had a nice pool
We were there in May 2018. The entire facility appeared old and well past it's prime. We never saw any staff. Our room cards were taped on the front door. A continental breakfast was advertised as part of our stay. However, there were no directions or times posted on where or when the continental breakfast was being served. We were forced to go to another nearby restaurant for breakfast. They also did not notify us ahead of time about the lack of potable water. six bottles of drinking water and a gallon of other water were in our room with a note that said that there was a "water problem" and to not drink the water. This room would have been a good value at $85.00. However at $130 I thought that this room was way over priced.
