It was close to the beach and was reasonably priced
Very clean and updated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great little motel.
Clean, good value, good location.
As usual we always check around the mattress for possible bed bugs and sure enough this hotel had dead bed bugs all around the edge of the mattress.. was only happy because they returned our money.
Friendly staff, clean property, spotless rooms, close to restaurants, liquor store and across the street from the beach.
Room as described. Clean. Convenient. Air conditioned.
Nice clean room. Well upkept unit. Nice location near beach. Good service.
Great little budget hotel with very friendly staff.
No frills motel, but clean and in a good location. Staff are also very kind
The motel is conveniently located to Skaha beach which is a real bonus. It has a nice pool with lounging chaises and an indoor hot tub. A nearby liquor store was handy, but the adjacent pub with food service was closed because of a recent fire. We experienced three shortcomings during our stay, all of which can be remedied if the owner choses to do so.. First, the WiFi signal in our room was usually weak. Sitting outside, the signal was better, but who wants to do that all the time. Second, the number of TV channels was very limited. I was interested in watching some sporting events (Blue Jays baseball, CFL football, PGA golf, etc.) but without TSN and Sportsnet, I was screwed. Third, the electricity was often cut-off because of a blown circuit breaker. The power to our unit was shared with the adjacent unit and simultaneous use of appliances such as refrigerator, microwave, and hair blower threw the circuit breaker, which had to be restored within the office, if it was open. Adding an additional electrical circuit to each unit could done by coming through the rear of the building with each electrical outlet dedicated to appliances such as fridges and microwaves. The owner would be wise to spend the money on this upgrade to circumvent future guest frustration and complaints.
