One night stay
Reception very efficient and even showed us to our room. Room very cosy with good facilities. The restaurant's 'Early Bird' menu was very good and staff were polite and efficient. Will stay again, when the occasion arises.

Mediocrity Prevails
The main property is old and the rooms are mainly in modern extensions built on a budget. They are adequate, but in need of TLC. Incredibly expensive for the quality of accommodation in a 2 bed flat, so they must be making enough money to improve standards. There were no toiletries provided in the en suite bathroom, unfortunately I was already in the shower when I realised this. In fact, there wasn't even a shelf or holder for such items, even if you brought your own, so presume they are just not provided at this property. The tiles were cracked, grout was missing, silicone seals were missing, there was black mould on the shower ceiling and carpet was frayed at the threshold. The room just wasn't in a rentable condition. The breakfast was OK, bacon had been kept warm for hours and was like leather, black pudding undercooked, poached egg, almost cooked, mushroom was cooked at the same time as the bacon. Even the side plates were too small for the size loaf used for toast. If you cut corners on the size of crockery, then at least serve butter in a dish rather than foil packs that have to sit on the table. Welsh breakfast is a perfectly good description, the Welsh salted butter delicious (even without a dish), so why not go one step further and avoid the English breakfast tea, Glengettie is easily available in Mumbles. I truly wish I could visit my home town and look forward to a hospitality experience I could be proud of. Just rented a house for my next trip. Enough is enough!

Best 3 Star i’ve Stayed In.
It was a work reunion held at this hotel. The hotel was clean, comfy, controllable heating, parking and WiFi. Recently redecorate very tasteful. There was a tribute act as part of the Christmas Party, very entertaining. Great spot in Mumbles.

Pleasant weekend in mumbles catching up with friends. Hotel in good situation with lovely sea view, short walk from a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast at hotel was excellent. The restaurant was spacious and we had dinner there twice. Modern clean hotel which we enjoyed coming back to in the evening. There is a small bar area.

Im not sure if I I’ll back to this hotel again
the receptionist who received us the day of check in ... was very petulant ... we almost ignored it because we did not speak wales ... we asked for recommendations to go for lunch or dinner ... but his response was that we we could search the internet. If I arrive with my girlfriend to this hotel it is because we read good references about it ... but the truth is that I leave a lot to wish her attention ... nothing to say about the people who serve breakfast very friendly and attentive ...
