Great hotel in beautiful if expensive country!
Excellent hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Bar/Restaurant area a bit on the small side and busy as well, so we opted to dine elsewhere. Well located in the central shopping area and close to bus stop for tour buses. Nice, quiet and safe!

Lovely Quarantine Vacation
We were their first “voluntary quarantined” clients and we can’t say enough positive about our 6 day stay. The entire staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed while staying within the guidelines of the quarantine. Breakfast/lunch/dinner delivered to your door was well prepared. We had a private balcony which was lovely to relax on. And the weather was unbelievable, not a drop of rain and blue sky every day. A special thanks to Stephaniem for her help and attention to detail. Thanks to all the staff!

The phone was outstanding.
So I've been traveling a lot in the last couple of years and this is the first hotel I'm taking the time to rate. I was so pleasantly shocked upon checking into the Alda when the gave me a fully functioning smart phone for the duration of my stay. It came in so handy. I don't know if this is an Iceland thing or just a Alda thing, but it was awesome. Thanks for a great experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay with Alda Hotel. Rooms were clean, a little small, but overall enjoyable. Best part was they provide cell phones to use free of charge for the extent of your stay. They also have a breakfast buffet you can purchase with good food options. Overall recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at the Hotel Alda. The property is well located on the Main Street near many bars and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was excellent. They also have a good restaurant and bar on-site. Highly recommended.

The rooms were too small for 2 adults unless you had a room with a couch which is 2x bigger than the small rooms. The exercise room was too warm. Overall though the people and breakfast Buffett were great as was the price
