Good location good property
It's a nice spot if you plan on doing long-term stay, with the small kitchenette and fridge and stove top you can definitely hook up a couple meals in house. If you are traveling with kids request a handicap accessible room, as it is the only room that has a tub available for bath time. The rest of the rooms have standing showers which is still pretty decent in size, but the accessible rooms are easily twice the size. There is construction going on on the west side of the building, which starts at 7 a.m. during the weekdays, the hotel windows are pretty decent at ceiling off most of the noise but not all of it so if you are a late Riser request something on the other side or facing the courtyard. Hotel staff is courteous and very helpful, breakfast is free with certain rooms / packages, breakfast is pretty basic scrambled eggs choice meat and breakfast burritos and cereal. I wish there was an omelet station because after 3 days of eating the same stuff gets kind of old. Plenty of restaurants and bars and Parks all within walking distance and clothes and easy access to the freeways. The location is nice and I would stay again, but $40 for valet parking could get pretty steep on a daily basis, I would recommend self parking around the area if you can.

University of Portland Graduation
We were in town for our sons graduation. We have stayed at this hotel many times. As always it was wonderful. Gary was great and is customer service was amazing. Always willing to go above and beyond. Our room was missing an iron??? Not sure what that was about but not the end of the world. We made it work! This is our favorite spot to stay in Portland!!

I had a wonderful stay at this Residence Inn! The customer service was excellent, and the hotel room was exceptionally clean and in perfect condition. It was great to be walking distance to Powell's books, and LoveJoy Bakers nearby is not to be missed.
