I inquired about the elevator situation and was told that they didn’t but not to worry we were on the first floor. She did not tell us that we had to haul our luggage upstairs to just get into the hotel. Also, the picture of the hotel is very misleading. I would never stay there again.

This is a lovely location for a visit to Charlottetown. The quiet neighborhood includes a park, a historic church (the Kirk of St. James), and beautiful old homes. Plus, downtown Charlottetown is within easy walking distance. We stayed in the Annex--a modern addition to the older inn. While the facade is an understated match of surrounding stone buildings, the room's interior is decorated in a classic modern style, with light, solid wood dressers and closets, and a spacious bathroom. All very comfortable and convenient.
