Happy and will recommend
1st night we had a very small room....on day 2 and 3 we got a nice room but the tv and shower was'nt working. The staff was very prompt in getting everything fixed asap. As a token of apology we were given 2 food vouchers to the on site restaurant. Staff very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Bus passes given to us for 3 days was a nice act of good customer service. Will definitely recommend and stay here again. A special thanks to Josh and the girls for excellent customer service.

4/10 Fair

The main light did not work in my room. The blinds were broken and I was in clear view of the parking lot naked. The showers had butt lint all over floor in the shower. They were not the cleanliest.

8/10 Very good

This was my third stay in the private cabins and although still a very nice experience we were disappointed that the electricity outlets in the parking lot did not work with such extreme cold temperatures. When it is colder than minus 20 overnight the plug ins for all parking spots should be working. I asked about this issue and was told by reception they would talk to management but the issue continued for throughout the days we were there. We do not go out to the mountains to watch TV but would have liked the cable to be working so we could listen to the music channels and watch the news. This issue was also brought to staff's attention but the TV issue was not fixed during the stay. The bathroom needs large shampoo / body wash dispensers instead of tiny plastic bottles used for every room in order to be more environmentally friendly. That all said, I would return as I do love Banff and the private cabin option at the hostel. Staff were friendly and allowed my partner to go into another hostel room for early check-in when I had to leave so we appreciated being able to move his stuff over right away after checking out of the cabin in the morning. :)

Enjoyed our stay over Christmas. Kitchen is small, but it serves the purpose. Lots of storage space for food. The room we stayed in was clean. Would stay again.
