Hidden Gem but not a hotel
The Guesthouse is a wonderful quaint place to stay. If you want more of a hostel type of location then this is your place. It is not a hotel. The pros of Guesthouse is that it is in a great location and easy to get to from the airport. It is in the middle of the city with access to trains and buses. They also are very kind. The cons of the location is that you have to walk up many different steps to get to the 1st floor and there are no elevators. If you don't get your own bathroom, you then have to share with others. But they keep the place very clean and it was not a problem. They do provide breakfast in the morning which includes bread, cereal, and juice. Important facts: the front desk closes at midnight. No elevator, no TV, you have pay in cash upon arrival. It is hard to find because there is no major sign. It is a little shady area at night.

Cheap and Cheerful
The location of the hotel is really great. The breakfast is lovely, simple with cereal, coffee, fresh bread and cheese but tasty. Be warned, there are no elevators so you will be climbing a couple of flights of stairs to get to your room. The rooms are very clean as are the bathrooms/showers, however, the walls are very thin and I could hear my neighbour snoring the entire night which didn't make for the best sleep! Finally, because of the outer construction, our windows were covered and we didn't have a view of the gorgeous views outdoors which was unfortunate and slightly left us feeling claustrophobic!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is great. The only negative is the street noise, which can be solved with earplugs at night.

Visit to Lisbon
This guesthouse is very convenient, right next to the Rossio train and metro stations. The staff was very friendly and helpful with making recommendations. The breakfast is great. The rooms are tiny but clean and adequate. My only complaint would be that it was loud overnight from outside noise. This can be solved with earplugs though.

Perfect location
We had a great stay here! You cannot beat the location. It was very convenient to the metro. We were able to walk to many sights and we had an amazing view from our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative is that the Wi-Fi wasn't working most of the time we were there, which was a minor frustration.
