This hotel is a must.so clean staff can’t do enough to help you .everything is layer on for you weather you want to stay in hotel or see the sights the staff are on hand to help in any way they can .they have all the knowledge and facts about all the attractions.and are not out to rip you off like in other hotels.all mod cons fron ordering food and drink from your sun bed by app to hitting button letting them know you in resting or you want room cleaned,hat off to the owners they have it all covered.il be back

Average stay... and expensive in relation to other good hotels in the same location

We had a very nice stay in the Waldorf Astoria. Beautiful hotel and beach.

Likes: exterior amenities, size of the room, valet and service staff was excellent. Dis-likes: check-in experience, room initially given wasn’t clean - shower, coffee maker wasn’t functioning, drain was clogged and mini-bar wasn’t stocked; further, our concerns weren’t a priority and took 2 full days before being addressed. For a high-end property, the above issues made the experience disappointing.

The service which should be at the highest at a waldorf was horrible. We waited 2.5hrs for check in (which was originally told to us as 15mins, when we arrive at 3pm, then kept dragging on), we then ordered food which arrived after 2 hours, and half of it was cold. When leaving, we waited up front for a taxi for 20mins, while 4 of the staff stood around playing with their pens and drawing on their fingers (?!) As only one person had a phone that had the app to "order a taxi". What were the other 3 doing? Could they not also have a phone with the taxi app to order taxis? The room was fine, view was fantastic, but the service ruined the entire stay

This hotel is not ready to be open to the public at this time. It is severely under-resourced and under-staffed. Only one pool is open and one restaurant. Yet they are still trying to fill as many rooms as possible. The management are openly blaming the owners who refuse to increase staffing in an obvious bid to recoup losses over the past few months, at the expense of the customers. Overall, the property is run-down and in need of substantial investment. Specifics of my stay: 1. There was blood on two pillows when I arrived; the room was visibly dirty. They put a sanitised Covid sticker on the doors, but it is clear that the rooms are NOT being properly prepared for new guests. 2. My two rooms were not cleaned for three days! I had to lose my temper completely on several occasions to get my rooms cleaned. There were only two members in the housekeeping team on the afternoon shift, trying to service the entire property. 3. No bath plug in one room. 4. Awful water pressure. 5. Electrical fault in the room, where they simply just taped over some of the plug sockets instead of fixing the issue. 6. I had to ask four times for the hotel to arrange a return airport transfer. 7. Room service takes about an hour to arrive. 8. The Social (hotel restaurant) is extremely expensive and the food is awful. I order a chicken pasta dish and had a damned difficult job finding any chicken. Other hotels are open and fully serviced. DO NOT STAY HERE AT PRESENT.

Excellent staff, amazing breakfast, very clean.

This is a nice hotel, but I was expecting a total WOW of the Waldorf Astoria brand, it really was just a nice yet average (and very expensive) hotel. I realize now that I’m paying for the location on the palms vs the brand. I’ve stayed at a hotel on the trunk of the Palm previously, and in the future I would go there instead. 1/3 of the price, easier to get to and more amenities close by.
