Hotel
Air condition didn’t work

Don’t stay here, there is a reason it is cheap!
The front door to the hotel was busted open. There was one person at the front desk. The room had many broken pieces of furniture. The pull out mattress had no linen on it. There was half a roll of toilet paper in the room and no back up. The water would only come out of the tub faucet and not the shower head. The walls are super thin, we could hear our neighbors all night!

The property is very beautiful. The architecture & furniture have a nice modern vibe. The amenities are great- pool, gym. However, there are many drawbacks (1) no parking (2) outside the hotel is very “ghetto” and feels and looks unsafe. There are belligerent homeless people begging for money and insulting guests. Hence why the hotel has some much security key access to everything and the lobby is on the 2nd floor not 1st. (3) the linens and blankets and room were not clean. The blankets and linens had hair balls on them either human, wig or both- like a lot. We found chettos and caprisun drink inside pull out couch and dust near the bed. These are not the baseline levels of cleanliness one expects ever especially not during COVID-19. When I informed staff I got new linens which also had plenty of hairs strands and knots.

Could have been better...
My trip was not as expected... no housekeeper to clean the room. Had to change my own sheets and towles. Also the shower knob fell off the shower and the refrigerator wasn't working so my drinks and food didn't stay fresh. Customers service in the day time was horrible. The evening shift was way better.

The rooms are spacious and clean. But if you are on the O Street side it is noisy well into the night.
