The hotel is very nice and quite luxurious. However the Wi-Fi was terribly slow, and the breakfast could be better.

Enjoy the view as you walk down the stairs!
The hotel has plenty of space for the guests. We stayed in an executive suite and it was really good. Great bathroom and nicely divided rooms. Cindy at reception was really nice to deal with also. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but fruit, coffee and a small amount of snacks are provided.

Not recommended
I ignored the negative reviews of this hotel and booked the Family Suite 1, which was a mistake. The suite is in the basement of the hotel, accessible only by an old elevator, with no stairs. The room was clean and the service was fine by B&B standards, but we found the room location kind of creepy. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is detached, accessible from a shared hallway. After checking in we forfeited our room and tax to move to another hotel.

Original Victorian in Calm Area
Very pretty original, preserved Victorian from 1881. The room was very spacious with shower separate from toilet. The bathrooms were beautifully renovated with very nice fixtures. the lobby is enormous being the living space of the mansion. There is no one to take up your bags or help them to your car on your way out, so the service was very limited to only taking your credit card and ID to check-in. The room and house are worth the stay. Location is close to lots of things and considered a safe area.
