Alaska Heritage House Bed and Breakfast

This is an amazing Heritage home built in 1916 and decorated to suite. Each room is named after a local historical figure and each is decorated uniquely. The location is perfect as actually in walking distance of good restaurants, and the Chena river. Everything else is an easy drive.

The owner Telsy is super friendly and accommodating. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and enjoying your stay. The house is quiet and centrally located as we could walk to town in a few blocks. I highly recommend -and would stay here again!!

The property was centrally located and incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean and cozy. The house is amazing!!!! The ceilings are from another era and it is as if you are staying in a mansion of yore. It is also full of heritage items. Tulsey was a wonderful host. Breakfasts were good. A few minor complaints: there were no tissues in the apartment, the towels were threadbare and the chairs so wobbly you were afraid to sit on them. But all in all I would highly recommend the place and definitely stay there again -- especially if I were staying for a long period of time.

Loved the history of the facility. Enjoyed meeting all the other folks that were are the b&b also.

Their antiques are so beautiful and breakfasts at the huge dining table makes me feel like a queen. Melony is a great cook and her presentation is breathtaking. The location is so convenient that you can take a bus to go to lots of places. I highly recommend this place.

The room was nicely appointed to carry the historic significance of the house. It was quiet, comfortable and very convenient. The staff checked often to be sure we had all we needed for the room and for our comfort. The ability to check in in the middle of the night after several consecutive flight delays was a welcoming and very much appreciated end to a long day of travel.

It’s the best place. We had a nice relaxing time and the house is beautiful . We had yummy breakfast . The owner Is so kind and an amazing cook. Had very good time we will surely go back again

I was in the Maid’s Room where I shared a bathroom with another tenant. In my 3 days there I had easy access to the bathroom and no notice of any other tenant using that bathroom. I called Telsey, the proprietress, multiple times when I had any concerns and she readily was available to address them. I would have no hesitations to stay there in the future.
