This hotel is VERY old and has not had any remodeling done. The lobby is dark dirty and a little scary. There is NO air conditioning in the lobby. There is someone working the front desk from 4pm to 8pm only do I'd you need assistance you have to call. The beds were falling apart, the mini blinds did not work they were stuck open with a very clear view of the couple across the street. The Air conditioning in the room did not adjust was very cool, there are no extra blankets. I would not stay again and I would not recommend this hotel.

Good location but too many things wrong
The hotel is a remodel of an old building. Check in was not until 4.30 pm - much to late. There were about 20 people waiting to check into rooms. All the hotel corridors were littered with carpet pieces, furniture, pictures, chairs, etc. Room design was terrible. All the electric outlets in the wrong places. Head and pillow less than 6" from the kitchen sink. Table blocking the closet. Second closet totally in reachable. Bathroom door hits TV if opened wide. A/C fan noise in ceiling was unbearably loud. Bed has a 6" wide wood surround, so you hit your legs. New wood floor was already buckled by water from kitchen area. Window fly screens were stored in the room. The only good thing was the central downtown location. Room was clean but not cleaned daily or new towels if you stay for a few days. Coffee maker but no coffee or cream in the room. Definitely not worth the money

Stay away!!
This "hotel" should be described as a hostile. No service had half roll of TP and was told I could walk to the local Walgreens to buy more, security heard this and actually went and purchased some for me. The hotel was located in the Pittsfield building, should have just called it the Pitts.

Great location, poor quality room and bad service
The room should have been terrific. However, when we checked in there was standing water on the kitchen floor. I asked for a new room and was told there were no other rooms and that a work order was placed for the next day. The second day of our stay a plumber fixed the part of the plumbing that had been "fixed" with a bucket under the drain. However he could not locate source of the standing water. As a result, we had standing water in the kitchen the entire stay. I asked to speak with the management and was given a phone number to call. I have called and left messages and there has been no response.
