Fletcher Wellness-Hotel Leiden

Great location and the family room was a good size with very comfortable beds but there were no toiletries in the room and while there was air conditioning it was not possible to open the windows

All-round amazing. Oasis of silence, clean, spacious, beautiful views of the town at night.

Hotel has very strange lift access to rooms, reception is like in loby, near is fitness and you dont know what is hotel and what is other facillities. For the price of around 150€ per night you can get much better hotel.

Modern commercial hotel concept taken to the extreme! Reception staff very pleasant and competent. Room not cleaned properly at any stage - bin not emptied, tea/coffee not replenished. Breakfast mediocre, with long queue for coffee machine. Overall, not a memorable experience.

A nice place. A little short on room amenities, e.g., plastic cups, no robe or fancy towels. They do have a fitness area and it is quite close to the train and other spots in town.

In general the wellness and the hotel reception are at same place it’s chaotic there not really good structured not really friendly or helpful but that’s what i found out for most fletcher hotels i recommend other hotels

My stay at Fletcher wellness started okay. Though was not expecting a fee for the wellness area. Great service from the restaurant waiter. This drastically took a turn for the worse when I was woken at 3am by someone shouting and swearing outside my room. The doors have no peepholes so I opened my door to find he was specifically targeting the room opposite. I opened my door to see him staring at me angrily. He was screaming and swearing for 20-30 minutes whilst I tried to call the “24 hour reception”. I was surprised no one came up - seems staff avoided it. I was extremely scared as I then heard him being bundled into a room down the corridor and what sounded like him being beaten up. When I opened my door again blood was pasted on the door opposite. To speak with someone I had the call the externally hotel booking line! I explained how scared I was and they said it is in hand and would send someone up to see me. After lots of further disruption the noise died down an hour and a half later (I believe a neighbour had called the police). During this time I sent emails to reception but again no reply and no visit as promised. On check out the receptionist said I saw your emails - why no reply?? The hotel is unsafe. No peepholes on the doors, no one available at reception, no security, no cameras - allows this to happen. I know things can happen but why not put a note through the door to say it’s resolved, answer the phone or reply to emails. No service provision!

Average Hotel, with the worst reception staff I have ever experienced. We definitely would never go back.

Clean comfortable and excellent customer service

The hotel is extremely well located. Right on top of Leiden Central Station, which station has excellent connections to other train stations in the Netherlands. The quality of this hotel however has decreased considerably since it became part of the Fletcher Hotel Group
