Memorable place to stay
Craigmyle is a lovely building, with a magnificent guest lounge, in a beautiful tree lined residential avenue. It's a great place to stay if you don't mind walking 20+ minutes or catching a bus to the city centre, and you don't need a TV in your room. Street parking is free, but places hard to find at some times of day so you might have to walk some way to the hotel. As it openly states, it has a number of stairs up outside and no elevator. There are signs asking for shoes to be removed at the door or just inside the entrance, presumably to protect the beautiful polished wood flooring. It's very much 'do it yourself', from making tea or coffee in the lounge, to taking plates and cutlery out of a cupboard for breakfast. But everything is provided and is top quality, including the superb fresh breads, pastries and fruit selection for breakfast. There's a guest kitchen if you want to prepare food for yourself. Our room was on the small side, but had a separate seating area, and was very comfortable with some exquisite furnishings. There are a lot of do's and don'ts notices to guests, not least a legal one in the bedroom, which are mildly irritating, but it's a comfortable, unusual, and memorable place to stay.

Minor issues but beautiful BnB
Comfy room, very quiet, continental breakfast was decent and sitting room was beautiful. Our emailed access code had already expired as we checked in after office hours so could not enter until we called the manager, who gave us the new access code. The bathtub drain was quite slow and we showered with submersed feet but otherwise the BnB was a pleasant, memorable stay.

I really enjoyed the Craigmyle. It was in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was so comfy, I had the best sleep I've had in a while. Unfortunately, I didn't get to have breakfast as I was there for a race that started at 7am, but I would definately stay there again next year

A Night at The Craigmyle
Good stay at The Craigmyle, right in front of the Craigdarroh Castle. I wish I control the room temperature. Nice kitchenette inside the mini-suite. I am unable to rate the breakfast because my flight out of Victoria was scheduled early in the morning.

Heritage stay in Victoria
Great base from which to be out and about exploring Victoria. Very clean comfortable heritage building. Bedrooms are very small.
