Beds should be replaced please.
Great location, attractive decor, but the most important part is the BED, it was terrible, old and a piece of foam on top of the mattress. For a lovely BnB this is not fine. We had to asked to be moved to another bedroom. Bed adequate not great. Excellent service and breakfast.

Lovely!
The Craigmyle is lovely. We booked the Castle room and the view of the Craigdarroch Castle is amazing. Our room was very comfortable. They do keep the hotel warm and we opened the windows and kept them open throughout the night to cool off the room so we could sleep. The living room with gas fireplace was nice to relax in and look at magazines while sipping tea. One bonus is that there is a guest kitchen in which you have access to a induction stove, microwave and fridge in n which to store food. As I was traveling with my elderly mom, it was nice to have the option to have dinner in! Breakfast is continental and there is a nice selection. The whole house is beautiful and has such a nice feel.

We stayed in the Master Suite which is very spacious with 3 rooms and comfortable. Loved the roomy living room, large bathroom wuth jacuzzi and wee sweet kitchen. As usual, we really enjoy staying at this heritage property... full of charm. The only criticism is that with new ownership, we noticed that breakfast is not as good and that more maintenance needs to be done.

Overall it was good. The parking was a bigger issue than I anticipated. I had to park down the road and around the corner...not really to bad for me but could be for others. Breakfast was okay, nothing notable for food but the view was beautiful with the sun coming up in the front and the castle out the back.
