The Hungarian owners, Steven and Edith, are absolutely first class operators who put their guests needs first and foremost. Nothing is too much trouble when requests are made, and they are so congenial, one is made to feel like family. The suite was beautifully appointed, the view fabulous, and breakfast was included. Since arriving home I have recommended the Rocky Mountain Springs Lodge to everyone I know.

So glad we found this place.

This lodge is perched on the side of a hill with each room's balcony having amazing views over the valley. The building is a little dated but quite spacious with a comfortable bed separate living area and good shower. Breakfast was cooked up for us each morning and really helped us get started on our day. The managers were very helpful and kind. I'd definitely stay here again.

    Great outlook in Radium

This is a beautiful spot to stay overlooking the Columbia Valley. Do not recommend this location if you are pulling a trailer as it is a fairly steep climb and parking is limited. The staff are excellent as is the delicious breakfast that is included - highly recommend.

    Roger's Review

We loved the place. It had a great view from the balcony. The proprietors (Steve and his wife I think, I didn't get her name) were absolutely wonderful. They are very hard workers and prepared the breakfasts for the 3 days we were there. The only negative was the smoking rules. We don't smoke, and guests are advised to smoke on their balconies or outside. Hence, all 3 evenings other guests were outside smoking marajuana and that crap filtered into our room. I would suggest making this a non-smiling establishment or allow guests to smoke in their room so the stink doesn't come our way. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The views of the mountains and sunset are stunning! The rooms are a bit older though. It would be absolutely perfect if the furniture, carpets, walls etc were updated a bit. I would pay a little more for an upgraded lodge here, simply because of the views and quiet location. The restaurant had amazing food too! We had their dinner which was fresh and delicious. And their breakfast (which was included) was so delicious too. The staff were really friendly and accommodating.

The Hotel advertises that it has a million dollar view and that is so correct. Our room was on the upper level (no elevator) and we were able to sit on our little balcony and watch the sun set behind the mountains. Fantastic. The room itself had a sitting area with leather furniture and table and chairs. The bedroom was in a private area. There was a 15% loyalty discount if you dined there. The food was excellent. The breakfast menu had a variety of choices. It was served 8:30-9:30, which was perfect for us. The hosts were very friendly and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
