Very Good 8.0
Good location, close to Tokyo station and other train stations. Comfortable hotel, reasonably priced, provides amenities, and courteous staff. However, walls in the rooms are heavily scuffed giving the rooms the appearance of being uncleaned. Please note that my family and friends had booked four rooms during our stay.

Not as good as other APA Hotels
Room is rundown compared with other APA hotels I've stayed in. Scratched walls and headboard not great.

Poor 2.0
Luckily only a short stay
We were told we were given a double bed (turns out only a twin bed). We only found out when we stayed at another APA hotel during our trip at another location. The room with two twin beds was equivalent to the size of the “double bed”. Had asked concierge to help us call and book a restaurant. He supposedly made the reservation, but when we got to the restaurant, they said there is no reservation. Upon checking out, the hotel staff also refused to help make reservation ro upcoming night (as we are not hotel guests there that night). They also couldn’t help me translate. Never had such unhelpful Japanese staff in my years of travelling to japan

Very Good 8.0
Clean, but worn and dated. Not much space to hang clothes and store suitcase. Breakfast was Japanese style, and since there probably are a mix of guests, a few extra “continental” options would be better. A 12 minute walk from Tokyo station.
