the 4-star rating is a complete scam
We stayed here for 5 nights. At the first 2 days there was NO shuttle bus available but a 8-seated van running between airport and 2 hotels with hundreds of rooms of guest. You can imagine a complete chaos at airport bus stop. We spent an hour to reach the hotel, and the Assistant Manager at check-in only replied my complain with 2 words: oh really? There is a telephone in your room but have no instruction on how to contact service desk, you still have to walk down when necessary, what's the point?? There is no kettle in your room, what a joke! In side your bathroom, you only have 2 options at shower: hot water and very hot water!! Last but not least, the only entrance to the hotel is an automatic door but the power was gone after 11pm, we needed to push it by hand. OMG this is even worse than 2-star Travelodge!!! I truly regret for paying £150 extra to stay here instead of ibis, who at least providing proper shuttle bus service: we saw their buses every day when we were waiting at the airport......

Rude Shuttle Driver
The hotel room is quite small, and it's located in an isolated area. They do offer a free bus shuttle service to the airport, but it operates every 30 minutes. Also, they switch from a big bus to a smaller car in the evening. So, good luck catching a ride back at night. The worst part is the shuttle driver named Peter; he was extremely rude to the passengers. I actually filed a complaint with the headquarters, and I am still waiting for their response. The front desk staff isn't very helpful either. As a frequent traveler to Amsterdam, this will be my last time staying in this hotel and its chain. I would rather stay in NH due to their better rooms and services.

TV in my room wasn’t working. Only found out when I got back to the room late at night. As I was checking out the next morning, no point mentioning. Other than that the, the room was okay. Breakfast average, not a lot of choice & food was not replenished quickly when it ran out. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful

This was a short stay as I was just laying over and I was lucky enough to be at the bus stop just before it leaves - the free bus transport is full. When I arrived, it was chaotic at the reception - maybe because it was also a bar/restaurant. Maybe consider having free airport transport even before 6AM for people having to catch very early flights. The hotel should also consider cleaning the hallway more frequently as there were a lot of trash left by other guest outside their doors.

Hotel don’t care about customers.
I found the sheets dusty/not changed when I checked in. I asked to change the sheets in the mornings continuously for 2 days (was out all day and I came back at night after my day trips) and found the sheet not changed on day one and room not cleaned at all on day 2. And finally they changed my room on day 3.
