Though it was clearly indicated that all rooms were non-smoking, there is a lingering scent of old smoke (maybe in the carpeting or furniture? The room needed attention. A shelf had been replaced at the entrance and it was literally a sheet of plywood, unpainted.

The hotel hallways smelled of cigarettes. Paying for and requiring a smoke free room doesn’t protect from others still smoking in the hotel. We are in a respiratory pandemic and feel zero smoking should be enforced and charged for accordingly.

Liked the location for our purpose. WI FI did not extend to the end of the building to our room Had to come out into the corridor halfway up to the front desk to get a signal.

The room was newer and clean, no issues there and the staff was friendly, that is the end of the positives. Now for the bad, first off the Wifi did not work, sometimes would connect but stated no internet connection, so I was not able to get any work done. The biggest issue was on the second floor where I was, when we arrived about 15 adults and 10 kids were filled out in the hallway, no one wearing masks and all the adults were drinking and appeared to have been doing so for a while. Kids were running up and down the hallway and in the stair well. Once in our room I tolerated the noise for about 30 minutes. I would hope by 8 pm they would settle down, but no. I called the front desk and asked if we could be moved and explained why. I was told that the hotel was full, I asked what I was supposed to do as I did not feel safe confronting a bunch of unmasked drunks, I was told that the hotel staff would come speak to them. Either this did not happen or the drinkers just ignored the staff, either way this carried on until after 10pm. I tried calling the front desk only to not have anyone answer. This is very disappointing being trapped in your own room while the hotel failed to enforce not only a a mandatory face cover order but to allow a party to continue in the hallway. I’m sure the hotel will respond to this review with a “ Sorry you had a bad stay bla bla bla, we will try to do better bla, bla, bla instead of contacting me and making this Situation right.
