Porto Veneziano Chania - perfect city break
We were all very impressed with the hotel. As it is only 3 star we were a bit nervous, but it was excellent! The rooms are small, but beautifully clean, bedding is fresh and crisp and bathrooms are modern and spotless! Towels , soft and fluffy! Breakfast choices are excellent, one tiny suggestion would be to offer pots of coffee, I found cups just a bit small. Staff were so friendly and professional. Bar meals were also fab, particularly loved the ‘potato rocks’ - very yummy😋 . Overall, for a city hotel, this one is great value for money, perfect location and I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Amazing Hotel, Amazing Staff and Wonderful Views
I’ve stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and never once has it let me down. The breakfast is so good. And Zina and Michales do a fantastic job of making sure that everything is perfect. And if you want to eat at the hotel, the food is also fantastic. The cleaning staff does a great job and their attention to detail is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for the views and the staff!

We loved our stay at Porto Veneziano. The location is unbeatable, conveniently located in the old port, but on the edge, away from the busiest/loudest areas. The staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfasts are amazing. Rooms were clean and modern. AC/Heat worked great and was quiet. There is even on-site parking for those traveling with a car. My parents unfortunately caught COVID in the middle of their travels in Greece and had to quarantine / recover and the staff was incredibly nice to them with room service meals and asking after them. I can't recommend this hotel enough to anyone who's looking for a hotel and this fits their price point.

I arrived in Chania late after long flights from Australia and the checkin was very professional, friendly and helpful (even arranged a taxi from the airport at the last minute). I only stayed one night as I was meeting people the next day to travel to another part of Crete. I would be more than happy to stay at the Porto Veneziano HOTEL again.
