We booked the hotel as the weather was not great during some of the days we stayed there to make use of the Spa and Indoor Pool. After Check in somebody showed us the room and explained the basics of how to open a hotel room door, but unfortunately failed to let us know that the Spa was under maintenance. I only found out by the cleaners at the pool that it was currently shut.

Lovely hotel with exceptional staff and good location. We had dinner in the Polo restaurant one evening and extremely impressed with the food, just such a shame that it was so quiet with only one other table. Not sure why as the place should have been fully booked as it is one of the best restaurants in the area by far! The only reason that I did not give a 5/5 is that the bed was quite hard, pillows too soft and one of my all time pet hates, no pillow protectors are used! I just don't understand why some hotels don't think they are needed as it is so unhygienic!! Plus it would be nice if there were some entertainment channels on the TV as the only English channels were news ones.

The hotel was very clean, and observed excellent social distancing measures. The Alasia has a wonderful atmosphere perfect for all your holiday needs.
